| Ayre QX-5 - maximize use and wiring question. Using the analog balanced (XLR) output from the QX-5 to the AV 7704 would seem a better choice for audio quality. I take balanced audio from my QX-5/20 to a KX-5/20 preamp and VX-5/20 amp. Roon running on a Mac mini is the source via ethernet. | |

| Qobuz. I'm still a free beta Qobuz user, but it integrates so well with Roon and the 96/24 sounds so good I'm sure to be a subscriber. I plan to keep Tidal as well. | |

| Has anyone added a small subwoofer to 2 channel and been thrilled with the result? With KEF Ref 1s I'm using a pair of Velodyne HGS-10s low-passed at 40 Hz with 24 dB/octave slope by a SMS-1 bass manager that also does acoustic room correction. The result is an excellent full-range sound. |
