Your feelings on vintage audio. The build quality was better on lower-mid priced gear then today. A Luxman Receiver, Sansui intergrated, Aiwa tape deck, JVC turntable or a JBL monitor would be considered hi-end today regarding build quality.

Is there any bad sounding high-end gear--? Hate to join the Krell "bashwagon" but the S300i sounds more like a Black&Decker power tool then a Steinway.

Modern day female jazz recommendations Since were approaching 10 years after her death a vote for Susannah McCorkle is over due. Thou she lacked the seamless voice of Fitzgerald she had all the intangibles, the ability to make the song her own with class and dignity. |
