Rhodium...hmmm
Rhodium Is super hard and seemed to scratch up the receiving plugs. Not a fan!
Neutral Dac?
While I haven’t listened to every DAC ever made, every DAC I’ve heard has flavored the sound. Having say that, having not been in the studio with the mixing engineer, I have little idea what most music is supposed to  sound like.
What Gear Has Disappointed You?
I can’t really say any of the equipment I’ve bought has disappointed me, but I am disappointed with how every engineer mixes tunes differently so sometimes my subwoofer sounds perfect and sometimes I have to shut it off or at least turn it down! B...
What is this Beatles UHQR Collection?
I bet they sound great. To bad I’ve gone digital.  But I have purchased all the Giles Martin remastered/remixed Beatles albums and I am impressed with all of them!
Audiolab 6000CDT
@rockysantoro  I have the 6000CDT and use it probably 4 days a week. It sounds great with my system and for the money, even the remote is pretty darn good. All the best.
How crucial is the quality of a digital cable?
@motown-l  I’m using an Audioquest Cinnamon digital cable, but they also have the Forest, which is pretty darn good as well. All the best.
New transport or repair CD player
I have a 6000 CDT and it sounds great in my system. Even the remote is good.
Old school shootout: Snell A/III vs. Original B&W 801
@erik_squires  I can’t agree with you more. The A’s we’re so right for the time. After about a year, I horse traded them for a pair of Ohm F’s which were a whole different can of worms!
Nobsound springs - load range
@noromance  I just thought of another question. I have a bamboo cutting board. Would it be better to put the four Nobsound springs under the cutting board and the put the Hegel on top? Thanks again.
Nobsound springs - load range
@noromance  I just got a set of the Nobsound springs and there’s no instructions at all. So I have two questions. First, my Hegel weighs about 44 pounds. Is 4 springs enough or should I use 5? And the second is, should I put them under the Hegel’...
Old school shootout: Snell A/III vs. Original B&W 801
Oh and Jason, My type A’s were driven by Hafler’s that were upgraded while I still had the Snells and then I got an Ampzilla. It was a big difference in sound. Not necessarily a better sound, but a different sound. Both sounded very good, but I e...
Old school shootout: Snell A/III vs. Original B&W 801
Eric,  I had a pair of Snell type A’s. They were my first BIG high end speakers and I’m betting today’s speakers are hands down better in every way.  Although, it’s been almost 50 years since I had them, so things are a little fuzzy.
Qobuz Hi-Rez Not Necessarily the Best Sound
While I’m not on Qobuz, I have found that a lot of times there is little or no difference between CD and high Res. It’s as if they re-recorded it without making any other changes. Having said that, I’m listening to Tommy in 24/96 and it sounds gre...
Enough noise reduction?
This might be a silly question and I’m not looking to start a fight, but what power cords did Denafrips use to make their measurements? Was it the cord they sent with?    I have a Pontus ll and the power cord that came with it never came out of t...
A double bass is the best instrument to pair with vocals
