I’ve used Estes twice with good results. I did pay extra for front door service and it was worth every penny.  The last shipment was from New Hampshire to inside my front door in less than 48 hours. Could not be happier.

New Magico Speaker Break-in Question
All speakers need some amount of break in. Using them in a HT setup is a good way to start. After a few weeks they are pretty much going to be as good as they are ever going to be. Question,  how far from the front and side walls are the A5’s?  If... 
Tubes and less sensitive speakers
Have you ever thought about getting a hybrid amplifier?  I’m currently using PS Audio BHk preamp and 300 mono blocks.  They have a tube input section and the amps have a Mosfet output section. Plenty of power and warmth.

It’s been so long since I spun a 33, I can’t remember what it sounds like. 🤷‍♂️   
Some people actively participate but rarely if ever start a thread.
I for one start threads to get answers to problems. Here I can get honest answers from people who for the most part don’t have anything to gain. And vice versa,  I try to answer questions that others have.    
Why do tube amps often subjectively sound more powerful than SS ?
I started with tubes growing up, than switched to SS ie Hafler pre and amps in the early eighties.  While they worked great, there was something i was missing.  Later in the eighties, I went back to tubes and have never left, well kinda.  The rig ...

@sfgak @daveyf Thanks for the reply. I was pretty sure they were A/B but I just couldn’t remember. I was always broke back then because I was always buying the upgrades. 😀
