Channel D Lino C vs. Sutherland Little Loco
I forgot to add a link to picture gallery of 47 Labs Phono Cube and Power Humpty. There is also cheaper version called Shigaraki 4718 (on top of the expensive 4712 here, not sure why there are coaxial "in", it must be RCA).This is phonocube with on...

@chakster Many thanks for you detailed reply. I have completely misrepresented, and severely underestimated your extensive collections of MM and MC. The MC list you posted will be a guide to me. Though I am curious, there are a few in the list, ...
Looking for some help with my TT journey.. Records are looping..
Clean your stylus tip with dry brush (or Onzow), use magnifying glass to check the diamond. Lower the tracking force (within recommended range) and try again. Try different records

His moniker should be Raul Junior. However he is not younger Raul but new Raul.Being probably 40 years younger that Raul I still can’t hear a distortion in your systems, only Raul can hear it all the way from Mexico. So I must disappoint you, even ...

A provocative post, you know that everything Chakster owns is the best ever made.... until his next purchase.@dover You know more about my next purchase than myself? Because my best list of cartridges does not changed. I’m open for new discoveries...

@chakster , unless you have no music recorded after 1985, of course you listen to digital on your system. The DAC is before the phonostage instead of after the file.Luckily I don’t care about most of the music recorded even in the 80’s. 90% of my ...

@ chakster I know you have been long time advocate of the virtues of MM’s and NOS MC’s. And I do recall coming across threads where you mentioned 47 Labs electronics, but did not know until now it included their current mode phono stage. I have a ...
Refurbish Fidelity Research Tonearms
You’d better find Lustre GST-801 tonearm, cheaper than 64s or 64fx, but this Lustre is excellent tonearm and already have VTA base on the fly (while for FR this base alone is $1500 secondhand).

Another great current-injection type MC phono stage for low impedance cartridges is 47 Labs Phono Cube *more in this thread
LYRA DELOS CARTRIDGE TOO BRIGHT, THIN AND SHRILL SOUNDING
tt81 is ok... 200 300 ish good condition. I just bought 2 for my friends TT-81 is cheap, but reference class TT-101 is always broken and always listed as junk with no return. Repair of tt-101 cost nearly $2k and can tale a year in the USA (if you’...

Sota or Technics
I swear I can’t hear any noise from my turntables, they are dead quite and in this discussion I don’t want to talk about bad turntables, I know they are exist somewhere, but not in my world (I don’t use them). And I agree that a good turntable can...
Rega Planar 3: Is the Exact a significant upgrade from the Elys 2?
Rega cartridges are not worth it, but they made tonearms without adjustable vta to push their own matched carts with it. Actually, a cartridge from respected cartridge manufacturer can be much better than Rega own cart, but you might need a spacer...
Next step in Turntable
Some Solid Tech feet are similar to Isonoe that I am using under my pair of Technics turntable in my second (not main) system.
Sota or Technics
Cutting Lathe is also a turntable, but I doubt anyone can say “this Neumann cutting lathe is warmer and more dynamic than Skully cutting lathe”. The function of a turntable drive is to rotate on constant speed, period. The warmth or brightness com...
