For brand new - sealed servo Rhythmik F12. It's right at that price point.
Besides Aja and zeppelin pressings, what others are demo level recordings?

Sorry to ask this SACD question, but
SACDs are meant to be decoded internally by the player, just use the analog outs on the player over to your preamp and good to go.
Can anyone hear the difference when you add REL subwoofers when playing two channel
You should buy a track of just the 1812 Cannon and put on repeat

I believe it will only Throb with bass if the REL's low pass filter is "listening" for such frequencies. If the REL is set at 30Hz, but the Throb frequency is happenging at 40Hz, then the REL won't play it. That hum may well be the reverb/transien...
Increasing gain for your vinyl front end when pre-amp doesn't quite have enough juice
@chakster the Zu's look nice but pretty darn pricey. I could possibly do the dirty weekends, but that's about it since $ is tight. Are you a fan of the dirty weekends?

Anyone heard Schiit's Aegir?
Haven't heard them directly, going by the numerous review from folks I trust.I do have an upgrade plan in place for the 4 decade old Vandy 2Cs (alas, I don't think the Treo CT is in my future, so have to go bang for the buck route).Next (buy 1 or ...

If you like dynamics and subtlety of snare drum and the like, do your self a favor and get some Klipsch RP 600M. Dynamics are unheard of for only 550 dollars.
Ahhh--Problem solved. Adding a REL sub-bass unit...
2 things I am thinking about with REL:1.)Will it go low enough for my liking? (I don't get the warm and fuzzies from only going to 28Hz on the T/9i2.)Would I be better off, as in, better integration integration with my mains if I went the Vanderst...
