Clearaudio master reference vs Feickert Blackbird
One of my customers has a Clearaudio Master Reference turntable with Kuzma 4Point tonearm and Clearaudio Goldfinger v2 cartridge. Before the 4Point he had a Clearaudio TQi with upgrades. It wasn't close. My recommendation is stick with your Feicker...
shindo vs. atma-sphere
If you are using amplification with balanced inputs, especially if a balanced design internally, Atma-Sphere may well be your choice. Single ended equipment can be used very satisfactorily as well, as explained on the Atma-Sphere website.Atma-Sphe...
Soundlab speakers
Hi Albert, I don't have anything to add to what you and Tom have said. Reliability has dramatically improved. You should come up for a listen soon! My new large dedicated room will be complete in a month or so.Brian
RMAF 2013 - An Exhibitors perspective.
One has no idea of what is involved until doing a show. Although I have assisted some of my suppliers with setup for THE Show in Las Vegas, having a room at Axpona this year for my business was a first, and an exhausting one at that, even though m...
Wilson Alexia vs Raidho D3
Knghifi, you are correct. But some people believe what they read, and when a dealer doesn't voluntarily include a disclaimer it is deservedly subject to question and criticism, especially when the thread is not about what the dealer is pushing.
Soundlab speakers
No, but I expect they would work fine. Your best bet is to visit a dealer who will let you try the amps on the speakers.

Lyra Kleos: tracking force/VTA/azimuth questions
Dinster, the Fosgometer measures channel levels and crosstalk. The Feickert software also measures phase, and adjusting azimuth to achieve minimum phase error correlates much better with what we hear.
Anyone tried the Kuzma Stabi M yet?
Yes, it uses a powerful 3-phase DC motor. The Stabi M was introduced last year at the Munich hifi show and was demonstrated at CES this past January. I have not heard it outside of shows.

Sorry to rain on your parade but IMO horns tend to benefit from tubes if fidelity is what you are pursuing.

Specimen Products Hornling Speakers
Having lived with a pair of Little Horns and one of their stereo tube amps for a while, I will say they can be fun to listen to. They are not 'audiophile' speakers, though. I would be reluctant to use SS amplification with the speakers, although t...
What the best 89-90 db speaker I can buy for 3k?
Fritz Carbon 7s. I don't sell them but they are a steal at the price.
Your best ''outstanding'' products in last 5 yrs?
Dennis_the_menace: A sleeper for sure. Maybe because they're only $4500 people don't take them seriously.
Raidho D1/C1.1 vs Dynaudio C1 vs Magico Q1
Apdoc2004, for a purchase in this price range I urge you to travel to audition the speakers of interest rather than relying on discussion forum comments. And if it's important that you hear the speakers with some of your gear such as your amplifie...
