| Buying a remastered recording from radio: LP or CD? All things being equal in your equipment, the sound quality should be equal. IMHO I'm sure there are Golden Ears that lean towards vinyl, but taking into accout cost, convenience and longevity, I would go with CD. For what it's worth. Cheers. | |

| Are your record surfaces as silent as CDs? In a word, no. I have a few LPs that are dead silent but it is the exception. You can see my setup. It all depends on the pressing and amount of play. CDs have it on this question. IMHO. | |
