| System Upgrade Just sounds like the preamp has lower output to drive your amps at lower volume settings. No biggie but if you come across another preamp to try out then can see if there is any sound improvement. | |

| My 1st Tube Equipment Experience The tube hiss probably because of poor AC filtering. Adding a choke ot filter the AC may help and may also add the details back.Happy Listening. | |
| Preamp caps Jupiter copper foil or Jupiter HT worth double the money? Only Jupiter caps I have left are the beeswax 1.0 uf 600VDC (2 pairs). One pair is much larger than the other. Go figure! | |
