Why not more popular?
Non-box speakers often have qualities that I didn’t think one could find in box speakers eg a certain openness, etc. Non-box speakers:—open baffle dynamics (earliest Dahlquest DQ 10), spatial audio, pure audio project, tri-art etc.—electrostatics ...

+1 I’d like them to describe their preferred sound types - we all have a preference - up front. Then I’d like them to say how the speaker under test satisfies their preferences.

Components—no.Speakers, especially if floorstanding and tall need to be reasonably attractive ie any normal medium to dark wood (or black) and no weird/ugly shapes.
