I didnt watch his videos like he was the great speaker saviour, or that I have to buy his kits. Just that he was pointing out typical problems with cheap parts even in expensive speakers. What these parts look like, and how to get something bette...
Making speakers sound tonally similar with an equalizer
Frequency response is only part of the picture: pattern of sound radiation e.g. bipoles/dipoles/omnis plus wide dispersion vs (? more typical) narrow dispersion, etc.

Listening without interpretation...is it impossible?
"What is unlikely is that you have any idea what my mind will let me see." You wrote lines and lines and lines of intellectual stuff when my whole point is that your mind filters everything.

Been through both extremes: in my 20s went through decade long period in which many components came and went then i settled on mirage m3 speakers and a system which lasted about 30 years.  This go around I've pretty quickly settled on electronics ...

Question: If the Spatial M3s work fine with tubes (and they must because they are sold together) why did Clayton previously create an M3 version called the M3 triode master: "The award winning M3 has been re-engineered [changing from 4ohm] to pre...
