JM Lab Speakers With McIntosh Amp?
Hey Man! Welcome to the group of people who have learned that the JM Lab 926 is a great speaker! Take a look at Aball, he has been using the 926's for some time and has migrated his way through many amps, but his favorites have been the Mac amps.....
PC-Audio vs. High-end CD Player-GAME OVER
I have slowly been tring to get a computer based system up and running...the process has been adding one piece at a time. I have been ripping my CD's in lossless for some time now, and I recently added an external network hard drive...250GB...and ...

What is the best DAC ever made?

music frequency
I agree Tgrisham! If you look at the orchestra and the various pieces in the orchestra rep there are many that go very low. There are extensions for the double bass that allow it to play the lowest "c" on the standard keyboard, which is about 33 h...
music frequency
What you guys are missing here are the overtone series that these insturments and voices produce. These are the sonic signatures that make the 440 from a piano sound different from that of a violin or other insturment. These freqencies can extend ...
Room size too big for Sub??
One thing I have found that helps with this situation is to place the sub in the listening position...Then walk around the room and listen to where the sub sounds best. More often than not, this is where your sub should be placed in the room. Try ...
Music volume? What about your sound level?
Bigjoe, 130 db is about as loud as an airplane on the tarmac when the jets are pointed at your head...I hope you wear earplugs when you do that!
Music volume? What about your sound level?
When I used b&w's I used to listen at much higher levels than I currently listen with my JmLabs. When listening to Pop and rock I usually listen between 75-85 db currently. However before I used to usually listen around 85-90 db...I guess that...
Best Mcintosh solid-state amp 200-300 watts?
Mark, I made no distinction on purpose as it doesn't really matter to me. I guess I am just looking for opinions on what the favorite was regarless of vintage.
