Steve, by saying the offer was available to all, I meant in the sense that you offer a money-back guarantee on the My Mat. At least, I think you do. Correct me if I'm wrong ;-) .
What Would You Do with a Sealed, 1st Press Miles Davis "Kind of Blue"?
Whether to keep, open, and listen, or to sell? Well, how much do you like Miles? One thing to know is that the LP was long available only mastered at the wrong speed! That speed inaccuracy changed the pitch and tempos of the music, of course. The ...
Frustrated with Vinly
Jay, if you haven't already read them, do a search for posts by member atmasphere (Ralph Karsten) on the subject of LP noise (clicks, pops) being exacerbated by poor RIAA phono pre-amps. By the way, you should list your table/arm/cartridge/phono amp.

@slaw, when I said vinyl is also used as constrained layer damping (it is also used as acoustical damping), in retrospect my use of "the" in front of vinyl makes for a too literal comparison. I have no way of knowing if "your" vinyl is exactly the...
What Would You Do with a Sealed, 1st Press Miles Davis "Kind of Blue"?
Columbia Records in the early-60’s had an inner sleeve of very soft, very thin, limp plastic. It was a bag rounded on one side (following the curve of the LP), and perforated on the opposite. One had to rip open the bag liner along the perforation...
Has anyone tried Brass cartridge mounting screws?
@lewm, you gotta lotta gall.I'm with @best-groove: brass is too soft. I thought everyone switched to stainless steel years ago. No?
Recomend Some Albums Recorded with True Imaging.
Steve Earle And The Del McCoury Band: The Mountain. All vocals and instruments (all acoustic) recorded with them all standing around a single stereo microphone. They performed their live shows likewise. One of my favorite ever shows, at The House ...
LINN Ittok needs rewire Suggestions?
Arms don't cost much to ship to the UK, so I would set your Ittok to a tonearm specialist known for his excellent work, Johnnie at Audio Origami. He uses you choice of internal wire, including Cardas copper and a couple of different silvers.
Best tonearm for London Reference Cartridge
And if you can find any of the various incarnations of the Townshend Audio Rock turntable, it is unusually suited for any and all Deccas and Londons. A Zeta arm mounted on a Rock is a classic combination for the cartridge.
Why not put crossover networks in accessible compartments?
Open baffle loudspeakers usually have their crossovers on a board right behind the upper drivers. Danny Richie does his GR Research OB’s that way, and uses unusually high quality parts (Sonicaps, Mills resistors) to create them. In his Tech talk T...
Intimate Live Acoustic Recordings
Sheffield Labs S-9 and S-10. Recorded direct-to-disk, which are by definition live recordings.
What's Worth More on the Open Market - Your Records or Your Audio Gear
When the CD largely replaced the LP, the monetary value of non-collectable records dropped drastically. Mine retained their musical value to me, and I kept them all. I didn’t start buying CD’s until the music I wanted was available on that format ...

The vinyl of which @slaw speaks is also used in specific applications as constrained-layer damping. LP's are made of PVC, polyvinyl chloride.
chop stick holders.
I like the design of the Grip-Rite rebar chairs more, and they're less than 1/20th the cost (per riser)!
Clear Day Cables Double Shotgun vs. Analysis Plus Big Silver Oval
@fritzjurg, are willing to separate the two sets, for anyone wanting a single pair?
