FM alive and well here...curious question
I use my tuner on occasion and actually have the antenna in the attic- I have not gotten around to running the cable but it's something I had planned to do.  Basically one good FM station in the Chicago area that I like.  But I recently purchased ...
High mass vs Low Mass Turntables - Sound difference?

Primaluna dialogue premium HP tube rolling suggestions to reduce brightness
If you are sure about which impedance terminals sound the best you can try some very inexpensive new stock JJ tubes in the 12AU7 spots.  The JJs come stock on the Cronus Magnum and are a dark sounding tube but still capable of great sound.  This w...

Sub-woofer connection question
In my experience the high level inputs sound better because it integrates better with your main speakers. I have the JL Audio D110 subwoofer and it clearly sounds better using the high level connections- just connect the cables at your amplifier i...
Anyone using a Mytek Brooklyn or Manhattan (I or II) DAC as a preamplifier?
I would have bought one of these if it could connect to an integrated amp preamp input.  I don't understand why more quality DACs don't allow the option of connection to a preamp or integrated amp.

Bass distortion before tweeter distortion with a monitor at high volume?
I measured the KEF ls50s in my room and they seem to have a low pass crossover built in- the smooth drop off starts at 80 hz.  If these are your reference speaker then you need not worry (and do not want to) add your own crossover.  they can play ...
Has anyone heard the Harbeth Shl5 plus 40th anniversary edition??

Suggestions for a passive line-level high-pass crossover?
if you are doing it to integrate a subwoofer don't bother.  just find out what the acoustic crossover of your speakers is (as measured in your room) and set the subwoofer accordingly
Integrated Amplifier for the PSB Synchrony One B (bookshelf)
parasound halo integrated.  just the right amount of smoothness to match with the PSB's occasionally bright nature.  follow PSB's recommendation for speaker positioning and stand height.
Harbeth C7ES3 vs Spendor SP2/3R2
I have the C7s since last May and went through the same thing you are.  Not quite a year later and NO BODY is taking these things from me. They are speakers for life and amaze me on a daily basis.   Give them some time, the bass does get much bett...
AXPONA 2017 Protocol
One thing about Axpona is that it is often difficult to find the specific model you are looking to demo.  Dealers do not like to lug so much hardware and the rooms are small to begin with.  Even dealers that have multiple rooms still select only a...
