Tube Amp recommendations to drive Klipsch Forte III
Rogue Audio Cronus Magnum iii is an excellent sounding match with the Forte Iii. They really wake up with more power than the typical tube amp and the Rogue gets it done with its 100 Watts per channel.  Tunes up extraordinarily well with some NOS ...

Pass XA 25 versus Parasound A21+ - anyone compare?
@bobbydd Excellent  info, thanks.  I thought it appropriate that I continue the thread as I have lived with an a21+ for the better part of a year and now have the Pass Labs XA25 to compare.  So far the a21+ sounds much better in my system but the ...
Pass XA 25 versus Parasound A21+ - anyone compare?
FYI the overall tone of the XA25 is neutral, not lean.  Bass is excellent.  My issue is that it does not sound as refined in the upper midrange lower trebpe as i think it should, or as the a21+ does.this is with my 86db 6 ohm Harbeths.  If it smoo...

Pass XA 25 versus Parasound A21+ - anyone compare?
Just received a pass XA25 and have it running for a solid 24 hrs. I will be comparing to my Parasound a21+ that has matured well in my system for several months. So far the XA25 sounds grainy and edgy in the upper midrange and lower treble. The a2...
Midwoofer+Tweeter vs Wide band
These are not cheap but are the starting point of a superb wideband system. I use these in my car for frequencies between 400 and 8,000 Hz and they sound amazing. Can easily be used in a home audio DIY speaker and crossover at 160Hz low end and tw...

Drummers! Which amps do you use for best Timing & Dynamics?
Do not dismiss the Cary Audio SA 200.2 ES. Music just flowed as if the source through speakers were physically hardwired. the difference is the 16 150 watt bipolar output devices and 57000 uf capacitance per channel. the speed and microdynamics ar...
Drummers! Which amps do you use for best Timing & Dynamics?
The Cary Audio solid state model SA 200.2 ES is the most dynamic amp I have owned.  Even with less than sensitive speakers. I think it is  little over $4k new from Cary Direct.  Blistering fast.
