Why do so many people have problems with bass?
the number one reason for problem bass that i see in people’s systems is caused by non ideal speaker and listener positions. speakers and ears too close to walls or large surfaces. speakers too close to each other. stand mount speakers on poor ...
Subwoofers and Crossovers.
The Spendor D7.2 are different animals with respect to subwoofer integration. Their quasi transmission line bottom firing port extends bass to 25Hz.  When attempting to add 3 sets of subs to them without high pass filtering the main speakers, the...

save your money and get a used rogue RH 5 headphone amp and line stage.  sounds much better than the rp 1 and schiit.
On or Off
i have a pass amp also.  the manual is not specific about leaving the front panel switch on in addition to the rear switch.   i do leave the rear switch on but turn off the front panel switch after listening.
Subwoofers and Crossovers.
sorry to put a damper on your plans but i have the spendor d7.2 and previously the d7.   tried to integrate 3 different set of subs, ML, JL audio and REL.   you are on the right track trying to high pass the main speakers, the spendor's deep bas...
Rogue pharaoh II or Cronus Magnum III ?
@matias1979  Much experience with the Pharaoh I, just heard the II at AXPONA this past April.  The sound signature seemed mainly the same.  Bass heavy, lack of transparency, relatively unrefined midrange and treble.  I thought it was the worst s...
looking for a more efficient speaker.....
spendor d line
Need an integrated amp that sounds engaging at lower volume
doubtful a new amp will help much. i suggest more efficient speakers, e.g. 89 db min. or add a small subwoofer. check the PSB imagine XB speakers.  sound great at low volume and do not cost a fortune.
Rogue pharaoh II or Cronus Magnum III ?
@thecarpathian  yes, the cronus ii i had was clear, smooth, colorful, ultra refined and dynamic.   the pharaoh to my ears is bass heavy with unrefined midrange and treble.  the bass has kind of a suggish overhang.  also the sound did not change ...

Rogue pharaoh II or Cronus Magnum III ?
congrats @matias1979 !   you will love the CM III.  listen for the smooth, refined sound and the huge atmospheric sound stage.
Which pair of speakers changed your Hifi life?
Harbeth SHL5+.   Heard them at my first audio show (AXPONA) and was blown away at the clarity and refinement.  Vocals sounded real ! Bass was punchy and excellent.
Rogue pharaoh II or Cronus Magnum III ?
The Cronus Magnum has one of the most likeable sounds out of any amplifier on the market.   The Pharaoh does not.
