Perfect Path "Solutions" (PPS) eMat glupson definitely wins for the best comedy, though, realistically, MC provides an endless source of material.MC, you work in a hospital and you don't even know how masks work. I hate to tell you this MC, but the physics of electricity and sound...
FUSES, Finally!? Silicone potting compound. Goes in liquid, dries to a nice rubbery consistency. I would expect someone has used it for home audio. Some rubbery urethane compounds as well.Maybe we should tout a gooey, flexible liquid to pour into the amps to damp...
Class D George, -200Stop posting tired graphs, of an older technology that no longer represents state of the art. Are you familiar with the saying correlation does not equal causation? You are using the ignorant premise that because one Class-D amplifi...
If you stream music from the internet, I can't recommend this more highly What part of "empirical" evidence, from a scientific standpoint, requires controlled listening tests, not ad-hoc listening tests hence anecdotal evidence is hard for the kids in the back to understand??
About to invest in room treatments; GIK, RealTraps, DIY -- what is your experience? Just note that his test is technically incorrect. He is testing for sound blocking, not sound absorption though given the density of towels, I have to expect they would still work well especially at high frequencies. It's a cool hack."Honey, where...
Help! Spakers damaged during shipping?Paid insurance (with proof)being told not Insured? Thank you a_mulder. I will take you at your word which at this point seems fair. The problem seems to be as roxy54 described. Sounds like someone screwed up, IT implementation or something, but either way, it is not your fault and your claim shou...
Perfect Path "Solutions" (PPS) eMat You realize PPT did not give any appearance of having the ability to mold/extrude these mats right? His "proprietary" formula is fairly well enough described in his patent on his contact enhancer which comes down to a conductor in a binding solut...
If you stream music from the internet, I can't recommend this more highly By empirical you mean anecdotal. It would be best to learn the difference.
Perfect Path "Solutions" (PPS) eMat You know how MC makes comments on masks and covid @cleeds , even though he clearly does not understand how they work, though working in a hospital one would expect he uses one regularly? This would be a similar thing. Using something and underst...

What is the Silliest Accessory You Have Ever Seen. The Argent Rooms Lens have a damped control apperture thru the bottom vent for bass control and pressure relief. So basically a resonator. My suggested placement after 20 years of use is 6 feet outside the edge of either speaker Diffusion at this ...
Help! Spakers damaged during shipping?Paid insurance (with proof)being told not Insured? I am quickly seeing this thread has no point. We have been presented with a very thin explanation of what happened. If this is been ongoing for 7-8 months, I feel there would have been more information provided, i.e. like why the insurance claim ...
What is the Silliest Accessory You Have Ever Seen. @mijoystyn, @mahghister appears to read into posts what he wishes, either to stoke his outrage and/or stroke his bias,a kind of multicellular Helmholtz resonators....This product was just bashed by another fellow of the same species tonight who n...
If you stream music from the internet, I can't recommend this more highly Great example of a person who is not smart when it comes to technology so they open up their wallet willy nilly and believe anything they are told. There is almost 0 data loss in wired home networks. Even when there is, those data failures are corr...
If you stream music from the internet, I can't recommend this more highly In a home environment, with cheap cables, data losses and retransmits are near zero. Most people at least admit this. If there is a difference it can only be attributed to EMI/noise. Ethernet transformers will pass frequencies <1MHz. |
