| Martin Logan CLS 11Z speakers + which power amp? I tried the CLS-IIz's with both large tube amps and large solid state amps and they do suck a lot of power the solid state amps, monoblocks were running out of steam, Bryston 7B's. Also the tube amps could not them any justice. | |

| Planar in a small room I had the ET LFT VIIIa's and they are a tremendous speaker for the price, I had them in a room 14'6" x 16'6" and a much smaller room and they worked great, you will need to supply sufficient power to them they love good solid state. | |
| Krell amps with Magneplanar speakers You may want to try Bryston 7B's, Legacy Audio Monoblocs, and Rogue Audio 120's. I have tried all three and they all sound superb with the Maggie 3.6's. | |

| Anyone ever heard/try Maggies hooked up to Pass amp? I have tried the Pass Aleph design 100 watt monoblocks with 3.5/3.6's and while the overall sound was acceptable as long as the music did not get demanding.
