Hana Umami Red vs Dynavector xv-1s
The Umami is an amazing cartridge, almost as good as Koetsu Rosewood signature platinum.  I know I am not saying much, but I truly like the Umami, it is probably one of the biggest surprises. I have really great cartridges that cost 5-10 times and...
Isoacoustics Orea vs Townshend Seismic Pod on Components
@arafiq, there is fine tuning to be done. The space between the plates should 1-3mm, sometimes 4. I would start with the least amount of springs and go from there. If you have REW do some measurements before and after along with the different sett...

Power conditioner or not?
My experience, with the PS20 and 15 is pretty good, my soundstage and clarity improved, as it did and measured distortion.  My high power hungry Class A amp opened up and became a lot more dynamic. In the USA I would grade the results about 7-8 ...

@ryder I have been in the USA for a few weeks with not much work to do so I have spent a lot of time measuring different platforms. The Isoacoustic product i.e. Orea and Gaia provide almost unmeasurable improvement, the $34 for 4 Nobsound are ab...

AV RoomService EVP Isolation Footers vs Star Sound Tech
I measured other EPV's feet against other isolation/decoupling, none of  the "foam" based come close to spring based feet. From Nobsound to Seismic Isolation pods and podiums do a much better job decupling and isolating that any of the of the foam...
How to identify my weakest link?
1+ for the Umami! If you are going to look for speaker platforms, take a look at this before. I wish I could post pictures.....I could show the decay difference between the Credo Audio and Townshend Podiums... Both are very good, but the Credo ha...
