Isoacoustics Orea vs Townshend Seismic Pod on Components
@nonoise I do the same thing and not love, but it works on other forums. Do you enter a height and with? Do you use pixels or what?
The Best Isolation/ Vibration Footers per component - what's your experience?
Solid-Tec is pretty good, but it is a huge pain to buy in the USA. I have been waiting for 2 racks for ever. It will be 4 months in Jan 16 2022, when I was told 2 weeks. In the EU is slightly different.
Room Treaments - Where To Begin...
The best thing you can do, is to very precisely place your speakers by listening and using REW. Take a look at the Before and after, with absolutely no room treatment. This living-music room is the most difficult room to make music sound good, va...
Big Below 15k used that can play loud as heck
If you want horn and supper efficient (103db measured), and can find one used these should do  Zero1-xd  Zero TA I have the bigger brothers and are absolutely amazing. I know that they are not popular in the USA but well worth the search.
Isoacoustics Orea vs Townshend Seismic Pod on Components
@nonoise isn't amazing how our ears and equipment work?! is your integrated SS or tube? The first component I always isolate are the tubes, even a pair of mono amps do not react the same to the same isolation, and my house has all walls, ceilings...
Rega p10 vs SME 12A
VTA adjustment is all to important to me, messing around with shims is too coarse of adjustment, it reminds me of the the Acoustic Signature tonearms! Really is it too much to ask for precise, does not have to be even on the fly, VTA adjustment? T...
Room Acoustic Treatment
https://photos.app.goo.gl/NAiST86G3oYroo168 hopefully you can see this link. For the life of me, I click the picture icon in the menu bar while creating the post, I enter the height and with in pixels click ok and nothing. What am i doing wrong?
Room Acoustic Treatment
The biggest difference will come from proper speaker and subs placement, once you have that dialed to perfection, then use treatment. Despite claims from many acoustic panel manufacturers, treating anything below 45Hz becomes impractical because t...
Static electricity affecting sound reproduction. Please help!!
+1 to the humidifier, at the very least 55%. Do not use electronic/ultrasound the solids in the water will vaporize and cover everything. Even my house in Seattle, gets too dry so I use one of these Humidifiers I put the humidity dial in the midd...
Best speakers around $130k?
I love my Avantgrade Trio XD with the sub231. About €88k each but who is asking
Proac Speakers & Isoacoustics Gaia
Take a look at this  https://forum.audiogon.com/discussions/isoacoustics-orea-vs-townshend-seismic-pod-on-components I made some good measurements on a few different products
Another turntable
I would look at Acoustic Signature either a Typhoon or Montana. The typhoon is about 60-65% there in musicality, dynamics and transparency from a TechDas Air Force one premium which I own, the Montana is around 75%. I know that all this very sub...
High Sensitivity, high / flat impedance Speaker Shopping
Look at Avantgrade horn speakers! very efficient @ 107db+,  as flat impedance as I have ever measured and sound better than most of the speakers I have ever listened. AvantGrade The Zeros are at around Euros/U$ 10K. The Duo are in my opinion the...
Primaluna?
The one thing that makes tubes fail, aside from vibration, is high plate voltage, ( id not know if this is how it translates to English)  I have a PL 300i and my partner has 2x 400 in mono. I really like them but they are very dependent on the sp...
What'd You Get For Xmas?
Kevin, I do not know what you are talking about, I did not defame ANYONE or Upscale.  If you are talking about a private message conversation I had with a member on this forum, he reached out to me and asked me about Pathos and I explained my sit...
