How Is Pathos Audio Service After The Sale In The US?
Have you thought of buying a Cary, I know they are not hybrid but sound sweet and I bet they will even give you a great trade in for your dead amp. Another option would be the BAT VK-55SE, it is a sweet amp and they have incredibly good support. ...

Tube rolling ARC amps & Steelhead
@drbond thank you for the reply. I have my DAC/Streamer connected to it as well as my tone arms.  After some tube rolling I would like to do some upgrades as a few here have suggested. I do not want to spend a lot of money upgrading the Steelhead...

@tomic601 Hello Jim, thank you for responding!!  I want to roll tubes in the Steelhead, and my yet to come Pathos Heritage. I am sorry but I am having a hard time understating the following "In general I like RAM ( Roger Modjeski ) for hyper str...
Tube rolling ARC amps & Steelhead
I would like to revive this thread if at all possible.  @drbond what did you end up using? I would like to roll some tubes and see if I can add some more dynamics and open/depth to the stage.
Dumb question - how do you easily insert a photo/image inline with writing text in a post?
You are not alone, I have tried to insert pictures from different sources, Google Drive, One Drive, DropBox, and a few others to no avail. Maybe we get help :)
Best and Worst customer service?
The worst, Stereophile, Manley Labs and Solid-tech racks. I ordered and paid for their racks  3+ months ago and still not delivered them. The ETA was 2 weeks. My best experiences are with Acoustic Audio in the EU, in the USA distributor is horrib...
What's the best integrated amp in the $1500-$2000 range?
I would second PrimaLuna. Extremely easy to run and match and tubes last forever.
A new way of adjusting anti skate!
@lewm I still not get it how the OP goes about doing this floating arm. Is he attaching some kind of string to the headshell and then zeroing the digital scale with no AS and go from there?  Every tonearm has some degree of AS even when the settin...

Isoacoustics Orea vs Townshend Seismic Pod on Components
Thanks for telling me what pitch is. I did not say I have perfect pitch :) I did not even know what it was.  All I know is how the different notes sound, and since those notes sound bigger I deducted that it must be in the 20-32Hz. Maybe if I us...
Zephyr MIMC vs Hana ML
I bought an Umami and really like it, and auditioned the ML for fun, I really liked it specially at that price point.

Isoacoustics Orea vs Townshend Seismic Pod on Components
Can you kindly explain me what is "pitch" used for in music terms in English?  The 28.5Hz is about the sound, but more about how the some of the notes feel. Is hard to explain, but for example  notes like D#0 --- E#0 --- F#0--- G#0--- A#0--- B#0-...
Isoacoustics Orea vs Townshend Seismic Pod on Components
@millercarbon I already have the speakers in the podiums. Given the dimensions of my room, those are the room modes and as far as I understand there isn't much it can be done, practically because the room has to continue to function as a living-ro...
