High Powered Holographic Amplifiers
@twoleftears I am new here but not to hifi. I think those posts you mention were also rude.I saw no reason to attack the op. There are people who have never heard a "holographic" sound. Having been part owner of 3 stereo shops in a 30 year period,...

@twoleftears I don't think that was nice TLE.Your "preferences" should not be part of any platform leaning toward "rebuke" for a simple and matter of fact question by the op in my opinion.
best-sounding class D amp?
I agree totally with tweak1. About 4 months ago I took a trip and listened to the Wyred for sound and Primare I25 and I 35. A small sampling for sure but heard enough of the I35 to prefer it over the WFS.Why? The Primare seemed more natural to me....

@ twoleftearsLet me have a go with your question. Imaging, in an audio sense, is to be a be able to pick out where a particular instrument or performer is on a given, illusionary sound stage. Usually with the understanding that you are acting as a...

This shouldn’t be this hard. The guy is looking for an ss amp that produces the same effects as his current ARC. All of his reasons are not "mandatory" to be given here but simply important to him. That should be good enough. I feel rh67 has given...
Impressions: $1k-$2k integrated amps
@artisonjosh: Don't know which you had but with the  I 20 series (I21-22) etc. I would have to agree. The 30 series were better in this regard.Be careful on the power move up within the same company. Sometimes the beguiling character of a lower wat...
Impressions: $1k-$2k integrated amps
With the exception of the KEF, and the Diamond 220's, I’ve listened to all of the above with Primare. The speaker I thought went best with the Primares is not on your list. Both the original Studio 100’s and the Response D2 by Proac brought forth m...
$1000 bookshelf speakers with "recessed", "laid back" or "flat" mid-range?
We used to sell Spendor. Noromance is spot on.
Recommendations for fast sounding cables
I had the Speltz Anti Cables in my system for about 5 years. Previously used MIT 700+ and it was like a cool Canadian front came through with the Speltz. I then switched to the Mogami cabling and I heard what was missing with the Speltz. Signature...
Is there a Solid State amp that can satisfy a SET guy?
Well, I guess amp topology is one way of looking at it. A shorter path in my opinion is what amp has brought the musicians, voice and instruments into your room for a "they are there" experience?

About Primare: Primare prides itself on a straight forward presentation meaning clarity and associated flat audio spectrum.I found the I22 a bit better than the I21. The I30 series better than both because it produced this clarity with better bass...
All-in-one integrated, 10-15K range, class A/B only
I am surprised no one has mentioned the Constellation series integrated amps.Purported by some to be one of the finest sounding integrated amps out there. Within your 10-15K criteria.http://www.theabsolutesound.com/articles/constellation-inspirati...
Audio Research Classic 30: how does it compare to ARC current power amps?
@ shastasheenWe used to sell ARC stuff from the late 80's to 2008. They were not for everyone looking for the "tube" sound. ARC stuff always had harmonics that induced a "clarity" to their reproduction as opposed to "beautiful".That being said, th...
Magico M9 The new 'norm' in speakers
Looks like it belongs on the Dr. Who show.
Ever feel like a "low dollar" customer that your dealer doesn't think worth their time?
@audioguy85. Boy does that bring back memories.
