| Triode or Ultra-linear? Why? Very interesting. Most posters seem to enjoy triode mode. Why not just make a superior triode amp, save the cost of switches and additional wiring? Actually, I think I know the answer. Most consumers are impressed by power ratings, nothing else. | |
| Help w/ Martin Logan setup! I use my Summit X's only as stereo speakers. They are currently being driven by PrimaLuna Prologe amps set up as mono-blocs. No problem driving to more than adequate volumes. Have never heard clipping. Sound is spectacular. | |

| Is the upgrade from Scout 1.1 to the Prime worth it? I also went from a Scout 1.1 to a Prime. As good as the Scout is, there's no comparison.
