what to do............
midrange out of phase?
Speaker pop on amp startup - 1 channel only
The cap in the tweeter will protect it. 5v is not much DC at the output. It could be as simple as the relay sticking on that channel or a bad cap.
Speaker pop on amp startup - 1 channel only
Sorry for the jest, but I imagine there are many things that could do it. Without a schematic it is hard to tell. I tend to leave SS gear on regardless. Leave it on or get it fixed, lest you take out a driver passing DC. I'd have it looked at stra...

Leave it on!
High powered point to point tube amp?
Atmasphere
Solid state preamp warm up time?
If it is fused properly I'd leave it on 24/7- more so than the amp, but the amp possibly too.
A blasphemy....I know....
Johnny is correct. In art school they will have you buy a couple of extra tubes of color as the three cannot produce all of the colors without some additions. I can understand why this might work on a screen as well.
Symptoms of damaged drivers / crossovers?
No DC resistance and a scraping feel/sound when you gently push the cone in and out are the two most common.
Speaker refinish
Many things can darken or lighten a finish. In this case it is most likely UV, but could be a reaction to the grill cloth and/or the grill frame from the off gassing of the finish. Common catalyzed lacquers (the most popular finish) can take over ...
KLH Model Nine, how do I depot the wax cans?
It should have said "Be careful with the HEAT too. If it is too high, it will burn the wax and make a mess of things as it will leave carbon which is conductive."
compare Runnin springs Dimitri and Bybee Purifier
Interesting question for me as I use a RS Haley w/mongoose in series with an older Bybee signature on my DAC. Removal of either (I wanted to sell one) degrades the sound. The products you mention are both a step up from mine, but the point was tha...
KLH Model Nine, how do I depot the wax cans?
A lot of organic solvents such as lacquer thinner would work as well- don't use heat with them though as they will ignite very easily. Be careful with the too. If it is too high, it will burn the wax and make a mess of things as it will leave carb...
Silver vs cryogenic treated copper
That was easy, just google it:"Cryogenics changes the way current flows in a conductor. Aluminum, brass, copper, tin, and lead used in the electron- ics industry are affected by cryogenics. All of these materials exhibit longer wear, and more dura...
Silver vs cryogenic treated copper
IME copper has more body, silver more detail. What works depends upon what you want/need.
Any Neko Case fans?
I love her voice.
