5-10k budget... so many choices
In the 5-10k range I’d definitely consider Revel’s new 10k speaker which may or may not be available right now. Don’t know model no but it’s definitely been announced and Revel is great stuff. Kevin V is a great designer backed with a big budget.

This veteran audiophile thinks you should look into the Wilson Yvette at 26k list.I don’t know what bias you may or may not have for Wilson but the Yvette is a beautiful sounding speaker with plenty of mojo should you want it. It also their best l...
Best used or new DAC under $3500
i think the original Mytek Manhattan is a spectacular dac competitive with dacs up to 10k. Great build quality and excellent feature set. It was at least as musical in a trial with a much more expensive dac that is very popular and well regarded. ...
Wilson Audio Haters
not offended at all as for my personal desires the Yvette hits the spot. might not for someone else.no more to say on this topic.
Wilson Audio Haters
“conspicuous consumption for people with really bad taste”hmm. I would consider that a personal attack on a ton of people involved in this hobby.bad taste is relative of course but high end audio reeks of conspicuous consumption. I often feel guil...
Wilson Audio Haters
i usually don’t respond to foolish comments in the forums but jon5912 gets an award for one of the worst I’ve seen in a while. He’s not a Wilson hater but rambles on about how loony their designs are while expressing himself to be a man of superio...
Dealers hijacking the discussions
i started this thread and am guessing that “fanboy” means a person that rabidly supports certain brands? ctsooner’s recent post is pretty much where i’m coming from.
Which one is the best INTEGRATED!!
Dartzeel CTH-8550 as cited above. Have seen one or two used ones for sale in the 10-12k range. Built to outlive us all.

Which integrated amp would you pick?
Krell Vanguard. As Dave B said high end sound and design with deals to be had. Very well built as well. FWIW
D'Agostino Momentum amp melts down
All I can add is that I have a spectacular Agostino S250 left on full time with superior sonics. Great amps.
In Love with your NAIM dealer (usa)
Dealers will advise you to call the distributor Audio Plus. They seem to be very helpful and knowledgeable. Not sure many dealers can get into the weeds.
Serious Krell amp question for those who really know Krell amps
not surprised. i thought the multi channel Chorus 5200 was really good. I do think Krell should return to the previous cosmetics. I think it’s really hurt them. However the current technology is great.
