CEC Belt Drive CD Transports vs Jay's Audio CD Transports Great transport addition to your system. I am sure it sounds fantastic. I have the Jay’s CDT2MK2 and I really like it. Very quiet running and paired with a good DAC I am not wanting for anything better. The Jay’s design reminds me of the older Son...
Has anyone here had any dealings with Tekton, particularly their subwoofers OP good luck on your search. BTW before you start trashing a speaker brand maybe you should listen to it first.
Has anyone here had any dealings with Tekton, particularly their subwoofers I have Tekton speakers. I have grills… I put on them. They look like 90% of all other speakers out there in hifi land. Not liking the way the speakers look without grills is kinda silly to me.
Has anyone here had any dealings with Tekton, particularly their subwoofers There are so many people on this forum who are, as Corelli has hinted, like little children. They don’t like something, so they bash it. The OP had already trashed Tekton speakers before he made this post asking about their subwoofers. My first po...
Do I Really Need a Dedicated Streamer? OP, just stay with what you have. Spend extra money on something else entirely for which you know for 100% certainty you are getting something that makes sense to you.
Has anyone here had any dealings with Tekton, particularly their subwoofers I guess this might be something to consider… I’d say its a toss up between that laughable Tekton speaker pictured above and the supreme joke of Tralfamador...actually I think the real prize should go to complete system composed of Mac separates w...
Why isn’t more detail always better? Master Chen to Caine, "We see not what is in front of our eyes, but what is behind them". In other words, we all have preferences as to what we like individually, it's often a matter of personal taste. More bass, more detail, less bass, less detai...
Looking for a CD Player Smerk What surprising and refreshing insight you have written here. I am in agreement with you. Happy listening. BTW you are right, try to bring joy to others this season ( like your wife). That is what Christmas is all about.
Discerning a difference between streamers is difficult...only me or common for all? I think one should just be happy with whatever sounds good. It doesn’t matter if one has a $500 streamer or $5000 streamer. And that applies to speakers and other equipment. Enjoy the music and you are not crazy.
Eversolo, can I do better? It’s very hard for me to give a company a chance when I read about poor customer service from my fellow audiophiles. I put customer service as a very large determinant when I buy gear. Therefore Eversolo could sound heavenly and I would still pas...
How does sound influence your appreciation? I like the good recordings. I really enjoy listening those. Poor recordings not so much. I tend to want to listen to the capabilities of my system.
Why is an iPhone such a good streamer? I would say from my experience using my iPhone as a steamer that it is adequate but not as good as a dedicated streamer. iPhones are multiple use devices and my opinion is that they work well as remote control or I should say using the app of a de...
Do you have a perfect digital marriage? Lots of Roads leading to the top of the mountain. What’s interesting to me is how many different price points are getting you guys to audio nirvana. Very Cool. As someone already mentioned lots of dating before getting that special one. And of cou...
Do you have a perfect digital marriage? You guys have some great marriages. Impressive.
Why does USB feature so much in discussions about DACs when the newer HDMI seems better? I2S was designed for audio. Toslink was a cheap way to send digital signals developed by Toshiba. USB was for data not audio. When you look at it from a cost and convenience factor and take into consideration what technology was available at the t... |
