Help to complete a system

I am just about to complete a first system consisting of a pair of Dynaudio's Excite X12 and Arcam's Rdac. I am looking for the best integrated for around a flexible 1000USD. I know Marantz, Rega, Creek, Arcam, NAD all have good products in the price range but I am particularly interested in cases of sucsessful system matching. I listen to pop, rock, experimental and ethnic music more than jazz or classical, for instance. Sources will be a MBP, Apple TV or DVD Player. Thanks.

I have heard very good things about the Nait5i and Musical Fidelity's M3i but have no idea of their sonic signature. Never listen to any of them.
The Naim is said to be special...

Also had the Marantz PM8004 as a good choice, cheaper, powerful and with a phono input.

Some people say the Brio tends to be bright with the X12s. Is that so?

I guess 50w would be the minimum for the room in question.

Thanks for your responses.

Two more votes for Nait 5i and for my current favorite, the Rega Brio R. Don't know how the Rega will drive your Dyns, but it does a great job with my Spendor SP1/2e. Warm, musical, great drive, gorgeous midrange. A winner!
Dynaudio speakers like good clean current - not necessarily watts. The Naim 5i is plenty even for my C1's. As far as the Naim it is a very musical sounding integrated.
It is impressive how Naim gets its costumers satisfied. I have to go check the Nait 5i. I really like how it looks also. I wonder, however, why something like the PM8004 is almost never mentioned. Maybe because Marantz is a bigger and less niche oriented company?
