Disappointed to hear that Cary has no CD Players.

I guess Cary is not currently interested in making Cd players. I've been very happy with the older 306/200 player. I was thinking the 303T would be a good upgrade...
Oh, well....Guess I'm just old school....

Cary has a new player coming soon. Do a search on the DMC600.

Also, as a secondary option, perhaps think about trying one of the new Cary DACs with your current 306 as the transport.

***Cary dealer disclaimer***

I am both a Cary dealer as well as a dealer for quite a number of high end brands.

The CD player for all intensive purposes is dead. The Cary Music player that the other gentleman is talking about is a CD player/dac which is hardly a new concept.

Quite frankly I think you can get better sound with more convenience by going with a computer and a dac.

It is easy to load cd's onto a computer and with a really good dac the sound is fantastic.

With a computer setup you can easily find your music on a touch screen it is so much easier to find music and catalog it, I am demoing most of my systems with a 21 inch Gateway touch screen computer running windows 8 and Jriver software and Jplay.

Once you move into a great computer setup you will never go back to going through the pain in the ass nature of finding and loading cds.
"Once you move into a great computer setup you will never go back to going through the pain in the ass nature of finding and loading cds."

Right. Because burning an 800+ CD/SACD collection is "easy".
I can certainly understand someone`s preference for the conveniece of computer audio. But pulling CDs from a cabinet or rack and loading them has risen to the level of PITA? Is it that much of a chore? What level is playing LPs or R2R tape?
