Digital Interconnect for Musical Fidelity combo

Hey folks,

Hope you all are having a nice holiday season. I have a Musical Fidelity A3 CD and A3.24 DAC combination. Does anybody have a similar setup who could recommend a good digital coaxial or optical interconnect for this combo?

I currently have a Tara Labs Prism D-2...which seems a little harsh on acoustic or vocal material (so far), so I'm wondering what else is out there. I've heard good things about Acoustic Zen's MC2. It is on the steep side though. I've also had the chance to audition a used Madrigal MDC-2, which was very smooth...but perhaps overly smooth. Any suggestions in the below $200 range? I'm also open to used...

I'm looking for a digital cable with a neutral sound and good detail. The rest of my system consists of van den Hul D102 III interconnects, Jolida 202A amp and spendor S3/5SE speakers (with van den Hul Royal Jade biwire).

Thanks,

Leonard

Try either the Stereovox HDXV for $100.00, the designer is Chris S. who designed the Kimber D-60. His new HDXV is fantastic. Another recommendation is a lot more expensive, the $500.00 Sonoran. Sonoran may be found under the www.audiopoints.com website. All of their best cables are the Plateau's at around $500.00, which is a steal because they don't advertise. I just replaced all of my cables, from digital, interconnect, speaker to power. I replaced cables costing two to four times a much and sold all of the replaced cables to The Cable Company. Honestly, I've never heard anything more detailed and resolved than these Sonoran cables. You can also call The Cable Company (www.fatwyre.com) at 1.800.fatwyre and audition the Stereovox HDXV and the Acoustic Zen MC2, the cost of the trial is applied to your purchase, so you don't lose anything by trying them. But it would be worth your time if you're really serious about building a great system to check out the Sonoran Plateau cables. I believe that they'll be kept and match any future equipment upgrades that you'll do.
I forgot to mention that I have one of the new Musical Fidelity Tri-Vista 21 DAC's, so either the Stereovox HDXV or the Sonoran Plateau will work extremely well with your Musical Fidelity set-up.
