Inexpensive speaker cable for Merlin

I tried to find a thread that would cover the topic of inexpensive speaker cables, but couldn't find any.
Any cable under $500 that works well for the Merlin MME's.
Soon to be had with master bam.

Hi Pedrillo,

I finally got my speaker wires (it's a long way from Lithuania to Washington State). I finally got around to putting them in a couple of nights ago, and, by God, they sound damned good! It cost me $58 including shipping, for a stereo pair of 10'. I even think they might be a bit better than my $1400 cables. What the heck, there's not much to lose. If you are interested, send me an email, and I'll get you the guy's contact info in Lithuania.

Regards,
Dan
I'm using these for my Master TSM's and like them quite a bit. And you can get them used for less than the 500 price. They pop up every now and then here.

Cheers.

"It's supposed to be revolutionary"

If I'm not mistaken you must be mistaken, the revolution has passed ;^) I have heard plenty of bargain cables and some are quite a bargain but when you use the term revolutionary with a 58.00 cable it is either an oxymoron or it really is revolutionary, my guess is the latter. Listen to it for a while, what you may be hearing now is differences more than anything else. It's happened to me many times.

I think the TG Audio must be good although I've never heard them in my system they frequently come up in the discussion with these speakers. My recommendations all cost more than your budget. Personally I never found an inexpensive cable (read CHEAP) that really brought out what the Merlins with good amplification are capable of. Having said that you might look further into some of the recommendations above but do your homework, opinions are cheaper than really solid advice.

If it were me I would seek out Bobby P for his recommendations, he is your best resource.
