Auralic Aries G1.1 - Tidal Connect not working


I’ve had my Aries G1.1 for well over a year and have not experienced problems until recently. I have not changed my wireless network or my passwords but suddenly Tidal Connect is….well, not connecting. It does show that I’m connected to my WiFi.


Trying to play a song from the Lightning DS app returns a 1002 error code. The Auralic support site is useless.

I rebooted the unit and see a message appear during startup: “the username and password of network shared folder could not be empty.” Anyone else experience this issue?

Find Tidal app in settings on your iphone/ipad and make sure Local Area Network is selected.
