Adding a power trigger to an amp that doesn't have one

Hello Everyone, 

I might be buying an amplifier that has a remote but doesn't have a 12v trigger port. I need it to have one so that I can turn it on with a 12v from my AVR. 

Is there a device that on one end has a 12v(mono standard 12v plug) and on the other end an IR transmitter that can be programmed to the power button of the remote from the amp? 

I don't want to use a universal remote since none of them have the mouse/pointer ability to move like the LG magic remote (at least from what I could find).

If it’s solid state (and not Class A) why not just leave it on, then no trigger needed? Leaving it on is typically better for longevity than turning it on and off, and it’s always warmed up and ready to go.  Same for your AVR.

It’s A/B and if no signal powered on it uses 150W, but if idle(plugged in but not powered on it uses only 0.5W). I’d rather not have something powered on at all times and waste energy.

How often do you turn your components on and off each week?

Daily probably 5-6 times for sure. And tbh never had a problem with any of my components.
