I just picked this up on the recommendation ( a good one at that ) of my guitar playing friend who grew up listen to VH , he can play Eruption  and all of Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin .

I more of a Moody Blues , Pink Floyd & Jimi Hendrix king of guy on the Rock side.

The follow up to Van Halen 

was "Jimi Hendrix at Monterey "

and Leo Kottke  "6 & 12 String Guitar "
