FAVORITE POWER CABLE under $100 (1M)


Ready to replace my stock power cables with a limited budget...Ideas, opinions, favorites please...

I really like the SonarQuest connectors.  They have several versions, but my favorite is their basic copper.  If you want to make it look better swap out the plastic shell with one of the fancy looking Viborg/Krell/Acrolink aluminum shells.

A good PC is just really good conductors (OFC/OCC), solid connectors, secure connections.

+1 for Supra Lo-Rad.  Male and female Supra connectors are about $20 ea. and the cable about $4.50 /ft.   No fancy tools needed. Keep the drain wire connected at the AC source  but not at the component end.  I've found that tinning the ends of the stripped wires makes assembly a lot easier. Or you can use uninsulated copper ferrules. The cable is pliable and easy to work with.
