Eardrum in Cambridge, MA (Harvard Square), ~1980. JVC receiver, Technics turntable, Nakamichi tape deck and a dbx compressor (dolby vs dbx was still undecided then), Polk Audio Monitor 7's. 

Built a Dynaco 120 and PAT-4 in the late ‘60’s — paired them with a Dual 122? TT and a Stanton 681EE. Don’t remember the speaker brand — maybe ADC?  Sounded good to me, and got me thru the great old days of music. Added a Revox A77 in 1970, and a waterbed to help the acoustics. Good times!
