Why aren’t there many used cables on the market?

"My dealer never has used cables and also conveyed to me that the more expensive cables carry profit margin of 80%"

- Your dealer is not being straight with you.

"Obviously not a lot of money selling used cables and I think manufacturers may not allow their dealers to sell used cables."

- That has not been my experience.

Yep, Usedcables.com is a nice site, run by The Cable Company…..or….for sometimes better deals, US Audio Mart, or even here on Agon.

I’m sure it depends on what brand and level you looking for. Usually when we are searching for a particular thing we don’t see it until we don’t want it anymore.

Your right! I’ve even looking for a USB a to b and there are very few. I’d like to get an AQ I meter Carbon and it looks like they don’t make it. Same with the Nordost Blue Heaven.  They don’t make a 1 meter. 
If anyone sees a legit 1.5 meter AQ Carbon a to b USB or a 1.5 meter Nordost Blue Heaven at half price, please let me know. Crutchfield has none and Music Direct has a Nordost open box ( that I may have to buy)
