Room Dust and Records

I'm a new Degritter user and upon cleaning new records and examining the record with a tactical flashlight, I can see dust on the record prior to removing it from the Degritter.  I assume that this is dust from the air.

I have a dedicated room where I have removed paper product and use a large HEPA air filter and vacuum.  I also keep humidity around 55%.  What else can I do to mitigate dust?

No carpets, curtains, and reduce the number of surfaces like ornaments and "stuff."

Build a clean room with  hospital/manufacturing grade filtration and wear a appropriate clean room jumpsuit.

Other than that, just enjoy your clean records. Life is much too short.

Actually, I was looking for something practical like add an ionizer, keep humidity above 60%..etc.

@vonhelmholtz , you would have to make a clean room, outfits and all. Records always hold a little static and that pulls dust to them like a magnet. I always play with a grounded sweep arm to take care of any incidental dust and use a dustcover during play.

Keep a carbon fiber brush by the TT and brush before every play. Yeah, I keep my inner sleeves facing up in the cover which has a side opening. Somehow dust still finds its way. You cannot get rid of dust. Oh, also keep  a Zerostat gun by TT also
