i've appreciated  alot of his postings on tweaks etc, he made, always striving to improve things, and share results..

Methinks the beatdown he got from Upscale audio over tube amp design has him licking his wounds -seems to me to have disappeared right after Kevin's reply to a post..

Now this Raven sale blow, ouch, hope he comes back with a bit more politeness.

I agree with you on this. I do appreciate his posts on modifications and have had success with some myself. I also have no issues with anyone being passionate about what they own.
