Lumin D2 or Mytek Brooklyn Bridge for Tidal, Quboz

Hi folks,
I am considering upgrading from my Node 2 for streaming Tidal or Quboz. Right now I do not have a separate dac and I use the Node 2's dac. Does anyone have any experience with both the Lumin D2 and Mytek Brooklyn Bridge and can give their opinions in regards to sound quality between the two? Or should I just get a separate dac and feed the Node 2 into that? I do like the one box solution though. Thanks for your thoughts.

I have heard both the Lumin and Mytek products in my system and both are worthy contenders. I think I preferred the Lumin (it was a D1) by a small margin. You won’t go too wrong either way but I like the simplicity and ease of setup of the Lumin better.
The Lumin D2 and the Mytek Brooklyn Bridge sound about how you might expect from their respective choice in DAC chips (the D2 using the Wolfson WM8741 and the Brooklyn using the ESS Sabre ES9028PRO). So it will really come down to your preference.
Thanks for the feedback folks. I will try the D2 and see how I get along with it. I'm sorry but I'm not well versed with the different sonic attributes between chips but I'm hoping for a noticeable improvement over the node2 which I happen to like but you know how this hobby goes...
