Help with Mezzo Utopia

I just picked up a pair of Mezzo Utopia speakers at an incredible price. They were very dirty and took several hours to clean up but once done they are in very good shape. All the drivers function but the foam surrounds on the tweeters are very deteriorated. I have looked all over the internet and even called a Focal dealer to try and find out what the number of that tweeter is and if a replacement diaphram is available. Does anyone in the Agon community know what are the focal numbers for these tweeters and their diaphrams. Thank you all in advance

You may be out of luck the Tioxide tweeter for that speaker is long out of production

You may want to contact Focal in France for advice.

The other thing may be going to ebay.

Call Madisound or Zellatron both raw speaker provides and ask them for guidance.

Cerberus79...I wish I weighed 180 lbs. take Audiotroy’s advice and contact Focal, they may be able to suggest a replacement. Barring that you’re looking at a crapshoot with aftermarket suppliers. There is a reason you got these speakers at an incredible price.
I have sent an email to Focal hopefully they will respond. If I cant replace the diaphrams then my other option is to have the foam surrounds replaced as that is the problem. The tweeters function but the foam that holds them centered is shot. I will look for a competent speaker repair place. I paid a rediculous $500 for these so one way or another I am getting them fixed.
I’m not sure of anyone who has the capability to redo a tweeter surround. If Focal has a different unit that will fit your speaker, I might be tempted to go that way as it’s just a matter of generally using the correct power resistor to get the unit to blend in with the rest of the drivers. I know this is a simplification and there are xover matching considerations, but Focal may be able to assist with the technical implementation.
