Tekton Double Impacts

Anybody out there heard these??

I have dedicated audio room 14.5x20.5x9 ft.  Currently have Marantz Reference CD/Intergrated paired to Magnepan 1.7's with REL T-7 subs.  For the vast majority of music I love this system.  The only nit pick is that it is lacking/limited in covering say below 35 hz or so.  For the first time actually buzzed the panel with an organ sacd. Bummer.  Thought of upgrading subs to rythmicks but then I will need to high pass the 1.7's.  Really don't want to deal with that approach.

Enter the Double Impacts.  Many interesting things here.  Would certainly have a different set of strengths here.  Dynamics, claimed bottom octave coverage in one package, suspect a good match to current electronics.

I've read all the threads here so we do not need to rehash that.  Just wondering if others out there have FIRST HAND experience with these or other Tekton speakers

Thanks.

@ozzy Best of luck moving forward on your audio journey. I tried the DI's and they weren't my cup of tea but I occasionally pop into this thread to stay in the loop. I just can't comprehend how many people are sticking up for his terrible customer service and acting like it's normal. I've never bashed these speakers or this company but it pains me to see people commenting silly things like "the cook doesn't always list his ingredients, he's too busy cooking" or whatever...

And for Eric to just pop in this thread and not even apologize for leaving you hanging for three weeks. If he has time to answer questions in this thread, he has time to answer his business emails regarding his speakers which would seem like a priority, rather than scanning these forums. Why can't his secretary answer emails? Now this is just me connecting the dots here, but will he magically be available when/if there is a warranty or shipping issue?

Cool speakers for the price for some people but what a joke on customer service. Remove your company email if it's not functioning. Sorry guys, rant over.

cliff, there are two large ports on back and a single pr. of binding posts.  That's it.

Hi guys

I ordered my DI's w/upgrades plus grille's,  last Monday at around noon. I just received an e-mail that they are on Fed -Ex delivery truck and will be delivered today .. One week to the day, I live in eastern Ohio

The Ulfs are in the house! Well... they are in the garage at any rate. Now I need to get two, 200# 83" tall boxes though a 6.5ft door, across the house, up a 20ft high circular stairway, up a couple more steps in the upstairs gameroom entrance, through the 6.5ft theater door, around the HT seats, and down two more steps in the Theater. Then unbox them. All without damaging them, the house, or most importantly, any humans. It would be nice to know which side of the box is the front where the transducers are so we don't lean it on that side. That isn't marked and the box is square. So I can't even tell which are the sides. But they are boxed similarly to the DIs. Those were very well protected so I'm not too concerned. And Eric/Karma also sent some specific unboxing instructions similar to what comes with the DIs. Help is on the way tonight.
Awesome nitrobob, have a fun day of listening!

bullitt, it must be painful looking at those boxes without being able to move them until tonight. Looking forward to hearing you impressions of those beasts. Steve McQueen would be proud of such speakers!
