I have one of her CD's ( Couldn't tell you the title ) it was recorded in HDCD one of the best sounding recordings CD I have ever heard. After listening to it a few times I decided I like her music too. Imagine that. What CD of hers would you recommend? Thanks
The name of that Album is Whisper from the Mirror. Thanks for the couple suggestions! I do have several Bob James albums. Latley been listening to Chuck Loeb's last two, excellent recordings.
Moyo is my favorite, but also the newest. White Owl has great sound and impressive dynamics, but it's a quite dense -- if Rush or Yes were playing contemporary jazz, they would make White Owl. I don't think you can go wrong with any of here CD'. If you like Keiko Matsui, you should also try the Bob James solo albums. Start with Morning Noon and Night, but they're all good.
