It's been an interesting read, this forum.  The split into vague tribes, the needles of the 'free agents' barbs poking holes in the sturm und drang....

To fill in an obvious gap would be to poll the End of Times crowd if they're ready for whatever That may be....

Up to now they've been acting like it's gonna be an absolute party thrown for them.

Back in Houston, a co-worker showing me his drawings he'd done as the artist he is, nice gestural charcoal work.  He suddenly paused and opined...

Especially when our business is booking into 4th quarter already, and has just completed a 'high-profile' project....in a area we're familiar with already.

I gave up reading minds awhile back....same 4 things, basically.

Mostly primal stuff...the occasional -Thing I Didn't Need To- but goes with the territory......

We really ought to be focusing on planetary survival, but the concept is a bit beyond Fox and even all the others...not to mention the guverment....

I remember a bus trip from Houston to FL in which the onboard entertainment was a series of Chinese soap operas.  Spouse and I started to make up our own dialogs....

Meanwhile, in a state I was more than happy to depart from, the guv bitches that the citizens don't buy enough guns just before a drop-out punk unloads a clip into a classroom of little kids and teachers.

I have no problems with reasonable people of either spectrum; L v. R., pro v. no, all that...  But wasn't the concept of 'majority rules', even if the total is 50.0001%?

I can appreciate that there's lots of tech and wire between some spats that flame up here.  There'd been a thought floated about AG Zoom (or pick your means) meet-ups, but...

If any had or are having such, it might answer why some posters aren't about lately.
Since getting to actually see whom you've vented your spleen at previously, the psychic shock may drive one mute in many obscure ways... ;)

Rankles one to consider how quickly civility can fail, tolerating the wretched news that never seems to either...and the daily trudge seems to gain weight of it's own.

Still beats the alt., but it'd be nice to see things turn about on a civilization level, as in All of us instead the Some...and clean up our collective nest...

To the average Petrovic and Maya in Russia our econowarfare takes a toll on them, not so much the government.  'They' have the means to carry on despite shortages, businesses closing doesn't effect the 'well-enabled'...

Enough politik, comrades....it would be great if there was a niche tube outlet here in the states...one can curse about US businesses that shut down and went to China or elsewhere, but unsure if there's anyone to fill that demand....
