Would the wireless KEF LS-50's be good front Home Theater speakers?

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but I'm looking for an excuse to buy a pair of these.

Lemme know what you think.

I do NOT get the ho hah about these speakers..I demo’d them & the Dynaudio Excite X14’s I ended up with had staging & imaging equal to the KEF’s,a sweeter tone on strings,MUCH smoother treble without losing detail & ABSOLUTELY SLAYED THE KEF in the Bass department!!!..No thanks...
I can’t answer your question on integrating the KEFs in a home theatre system although I don’t see why they wouldn’t work. I purchased the KEF LS-50 W speakers for a second system a couple of months ago. Unlike freediver I find them to live up to all the excellent reviews they’ve gotten. I put them in my main listening room where I have Magnepan 20.1 speakers driven by a Bryston amp and I was pleasantly surprised at just how great these little guys sound.
In my opinion any bookshelf speaker will benefit from a sub and I do plan to pick up a good one in the near future. IMHO you will not be disappointed with a pair of KEF LS-50 W’s.
Thanks mitchchavis.

Do you still like them and do you feel the need for a sub woofer?
I still haven't made the move yet.

Subwoofers will definitely help.  You aren’t going to get a lot of bass out of the LS 50s..

@freediver - nice thread crap bro!
Thanks for the reply sfseay

I still haven't heard the LS-50's, or the wireless version yet.  I live more than 3 hours from a vendor who has them in a system.  I did buy a pair of Klispch SF3-ii.  They have good bass and sorta okay everything else.
Maybe I'll try looking again this weekend.
