Work out music

What is your favorite work out music? Mine is Satin Jackets!

Steely Dan “Live in America” worked during the pandemic for me.  The mix of tempos and flow of songs consistently supported cardio and weight training.  Each cut is super.  But now I can’t listen to it from a chair!  Oh, well…

I never used those ear-bud things so basically it was whatever radio station the kid working at the gym that day had on.  Personally, it never mattered much to me, I always pretty much tuned out everything except what I was doing.  As a matter of fact, on the rare occasions when nothing was playing, I was good with that.  I remember back in nineteen ninety and something I was lifting at a power meet and there was this cheesy boom-box someone had set up and when I came out to get my opening squat in, John Cougar was  blasting away with ". . . R O C K in the USA . . ." and I asked the grouchy old meet director if someone could turn it off, and he sounded real put out and disgusted, but he says, "This guy wants the music off . . .".

I don't have any particular workout music.

I've been playing Envy of None, Blind Ego, Riverside, RPWL, Nightwish, etc.
