Wilson Alexia vs Raidho D3

I've heard neither of these amps/preamps.

"The one dealer said, "the Vivid's are bright-boom-bright-boom". After an hour of listening that's all you hear."

And this guy sells the speakers? Sad, just sad I tell ya...

Knghifi, you are correct. But some people believe what they read, and when a dealer doesn't voluntarily include a disclaimer it is deservedly subject to question and criticism, especially when the thread is not about what the dealer is pushing.

The difference between theRaidho D3 and the vivid's will be a matter of taste. It will almost like choosing between solid state and tube. You probably should decide what kind of sound and music you listen to. If you like classical, operal, female vocals and want it intimate, then tend towards the vivid. If you like lots of different kinds of music, tend towards detail, depth (more technical listener), then the D3. The choices are actually hard at this level and never wrong.

Who Cares! This is an internet forum so all content should be consumed with caution. Caveat Emptor!

I've had two Vivid dealers talk me OUT of Vivid speakers.

Dealers usually carry products they believe in and their job is to convince customers to buy them. It's your fault to allow them to persuade you ... Bottom line is, Trust YOUR ears.

Thank you for your responses and thanks to Avantgarde for pointing out that Audiooracle is a dealer. I've had two Vivid dealers talk me OUT of Vivid speakers. I do hope to hear them at RMAF though.

OP, it will depend on your associated gear and music preference. From what i've heard the Raidho excels with vocals and the Wilson is very flexible with different music genres...both are known to be solid speakers but your ears must decide.

Dealer disclaimer.

Audiooracle, Please list that you are a dealer when replying and in this case what a wonder that you would rather a pair of Sceana 3.2 or Vivid's which you happen to be a dealer for both lines and not a dealer for either Wilson or Raidho.

Totally different animals,

Wilson superior dynamics, plays louder, bit more low bass emphasis.

Radiho overall more transparency, more coherence.

Personally I would take a pair of Sceana 3.2 or a pair of Vivids over either one of these speakers.
