By its aggressive stance over everything, China is now proved to be an enemy of the rest of the world. Buying their hi-fi product will assist them in realising the aggression. We should have learned the lesson with Russia.

@clearthinker , you clearly live inside a propaganda hole and seem to have an unclear view of the world...Forget the nations who are neutral or hostile as a reaction to US foreign policy, you could go around and even ask the US ’allied’ nations (vassal states in reality such as Germany, France, Japan, Canada, Italy, etc) about who they think is the real aggressor in this world. They will only point to one nation and it certainly won’t be China.

Is there any system component from a high end brand that has zero chips, resistors, capacitors, wiring, fuses, etc. that isn’t manufactured in China? 

China is following the pattern Japan did.  Advance rapidly in a few decades and be very financially successful while having a very low birth rate.  When you aren't spending resources on bringing up the next generation you can have incredible economic growth but it's not sustainable.  China might be almost over.  Demographic collapse is their future.

If Canada is dictatorship then China is what ?

I only buy Western and Japanese equipment, anyway, either new or used. Moderately priced. American tube amps with Chinese tubes in them ?.. I'd rather not but I understand their difficulties.
