It can be a very useful tool in other arts as well. As a concert photographer, I sometimes use it to remove mic stands in front of performers or amps in the background that are just distractions. But I certainly don't just turn it loose and say 'Make me a picture', though if I learned prompting and other aspects of it well enough, I could be an AI artist as well; I have played around with that for a bit.
