I'm currently loving a vintage pre amp that I couldn't afford when I was 17 in 1978. When new it cost more than my car. I love the synergy but dislike not having a remote for volume when surfing Qobuz. Does anyone else have this dilemma or solution?
Use roon and you can use the digital volume control in roon. It’s very good. I currently use the volume control in my DAC, but if I try a DAC w/o volume control that is what I do.
This Chase RLC-1 Remote Line Controller solves remote volume, remote balance, 4 selectable inputs, two identical outputs, and it's 120 db signal to noise ratio is true, absolutely cannot tell if it is in-line except you get the features.
You MUST have the remote control, no front panel controls
