Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Starker Plays Kodaly --- Sonata for Unaccompanied Cello; Duo for Violin and Cello with Josef Gingold; Bottermund-Starker: Variations on a Theme by Paganini
Thx Boxer.

Had to take a break , the wife's birthday so family meal out but now back to my regular programming.

Continue with some more Hot Tuna, Acoustic Live set.

The SQ on this is absolutely out of this world, I have no idea how they make the bass appear behind me to my right but they do. Neat trick.
Awesome Uber! Is that the name of the recording?

Elbow / The seldom seen kid
Third Stage ... Boston.

Always noted for great production, this tape in HQ really hits the mark!
Boxer.

It is actually called Hot Tuna live at The New Orleans House.
It is an acoustic live set and simply one of the best recorded live albums I have ever heard, possibly even better than Nils Lofgren Acoustic Live.

I think it is inbetween song 2 and 3 someone drops and breaks a glass and even though I know it's there I STILL think every time that the wife has dropped a glass in the kitchen!

Highly recommended!
Good call Boxer, might have to drag some Bowie out later.

Right now.

On Every Street ... Dire Straits.
Uber, I don't think he ever put out a bad album. Every one I've heard is great

Avey Tare / Down there
Thanks David, that was a good read & another interesting selection. I put "Thimar" on my want list at secondspin.com

Akron Family / Meek warrior

No Fun Aloud ... Glenn Frey.

Just took delivery of new to me Nakamichi ZX7 and it is SPECTACULAR!
The 660zx was a good step up from the 582 but this is in a different world entirely!
You can't argue with a sick mind ... Joe Walsh.

Very fitting title for how some of the forum discussions go depending who gets involved!
LOL Uber, isn't that the truth. Glad you like your new cassette deck.

Ghost Buffalo
Hey Boxer.

Been another busy play day, next week will not see much as working in Vancouver, Washington so be streaming only.

Need the 3 tape decks to deal with all these tapes!
Understood Uber, You probably still have 180 cassettes to listen too (LOL). Enjoy yourself in Washington. It's a beautiful place. My oldest lives in Seattle & loves it.

Sufjan Stevens / A sun came
David, I ordered  Thimar yesterday. Should see it next week, & am looking forward to it.

Sean Rowe / New lore
